Workshop 2:  Sustainable Land – Development Principles and Practices

Students will complete the workshop with tools to understand their property’s impact on the environment, their water useage, and ways to improve sustainability in these two key categories.  Students will explore land development, construction, and water efficiency using accepted analysis methods related to the US Green Building Council’s LEED program. Students will gain an understanding of land development, and have tools to analyze their own environment and the “green” claims of others.
