However, to move into a more commercial setting, such as health food stores and online retail, there is a vast array of Good Manufacturing Practice and label requirements that must be met and mastered if you are committed to avoiding the very expensive pitfalls of becoming ‘pen pals’ with the FTC and FDA. In this lecture, we will outline definitions of marketing and labeling that are regulated by government organizations in the United States, and specific resources where a manufacturer can access compliance criteria. Ellen Kamhi Ph.D. RN will share her expertise as an herbal formulator and regulatory consultant in the Nutraceutical Industry, so you will not be forced to say “ I did not know” – not a defense!

Ellen Kamhi, Ph.D., RN, AHG, AHN-BC is a wildcrafting intuitive herbalist and is adept at radionics and dowsing.
